Greetings! My name is Pachancia and I am a nature lover (land & sea) from The Bahamas. My background is heavily focused on marine ecosystems, education and conservation but as of late my interest in the terrestrial environment has increased.

I am Marjahn Finlayson! I am a climate scientist and activist, whose research focuses mainly on the atmosphere and ocean! I represent The Bahamas wherever I go!

Despite my research and work, I have been a tree hugger since birth which is why I love climate activism and education!

Hi there! I’m Leonie Brown. Not a conservationist by training or background, but I am a climate activist and nature lover! And for the past couple of years I’ve been working with Unearthodox to run a project asking ‘What is the future of conservation NGOs?’ A big question! Look forward to delving into some of the issues (legacy, interdisciplinary working, narrative and power shifts and so much more…) here with you guys :heart_eyes:

I commenced my academic and professional journey over fifteen years ago, engaging in various fellowships with esteemed non governmental and industrial organizations throughout the islands of The Bahamas. Presently, I’m currently a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Manager, where I lead safety and sustainability efforts at a transshipment container terminal and multifunctional cruise port and harbor.
